the cats in the cradle and the silver spoon
long day today. had only one hour of class at 9am, walked over to the classroom with hillary. my TA is super nice. the class has five journalism students and the rest are radio and television arts students... ooo outnumbered. i'm writing an in-class essay next week. yikes.
had breakfast with hillary at oakham cafe after class. eggs, sausages, toast, hash browns and tea for $3.75! what a deal. it was yummay.
came back to my room, took a big nap, and cleaned my room. adam called me up and we walked along queen street taking film pictures. i snapped five pictures with his Polaroid camera. tooooooo tooooooo awesome. i need one ASAP. i want a Lomo and a Holga too. dammit.
walked west until chinatown and kensington market, went for a coffee, then took more pictures. someone remind me to go grocery shopping in kensington, that place is such a gem and i hadn't seriously noted all the food there before. walked all the way to queen's park and university of toronto buildings. walking around u of t at night reminds me of the hogwarts castle. we walked aimlessly in and out of buildings until we got too cold and found a subway station. he walked me home then i walked him to the subway station then i had to go take pictures for the school paper.
went to chapters to take some portraits for the paper assignment, picked up a few magazines and persepolis and read for an hour in an aisle in the kids' section of the bookstore. way too tired from walking for hours. it's 11:41pm right now and i am so exhausted. totally ready to go to bed.
going swimming again tomorrow, after a Maclean's magazine meeting on "the recent human rights challenge and media coverage of muslims, racialized groups and women". right. then i need to freaking decide if' i'm going to bron's big fucking birthday party. i don't have a costume yet so i'm leaning towards no. hahaha
toooooo tired. i did no homework today. goodnite and xo.
