after school yesterday, dara and i went downtown to the central vpl (vancouver public library) and borrowed some books for our research paper on Dickens... -_-

BUT IT WAS SUCH AN ADVENTURE!

i found a book and dara wanted the same one, so then we looked it up on the catalogue and there were supposedly two copies in the building somewhere. the librarian looked it up in the "compact shelving" section and dara got a super tattered ancient copy! the due date slip on the verso had 1930s dates. woah

i bought an eco-friendly vpl bag for $3 and i felt awesome. i carried my books in that.
