super hot day today. went to denise's and played on her brand new wii for two hours. mighty addicting, i tell you. i've never owned a game console before. holy schmoly. i thoroughly enjoyed playing imaginary golf and imaginary baseball. we need a freaking wii party at denise's house when dara comes back to vancouverland.

i ate dinner with ester in the park, picnic-style. she brought two chunks of seasoned cooked chicken breast from Stong's... mmmm. yes it was pretty random. we had oranges, apple slices, greek salads, corn chips, and organic fair-trade chocolate (obviously ester's). we sat on the grass and ate while dodging frisbees (not really). i ate her cookies while she blabbed about dave, her lover. AHHHHH i have had it with ester's stories. these anecdotes are so sweet/weird, i cant help but laugh at her. le barf.

we met up with denise at fifth avenue cinema, where we saw PARIS JE T'AIME. lovely movie, really 18 tiny movies about paris put altogether. it was cute, but not amazing. gus van sant (the guy who directed Elephant) had one short in the film, it was random and talked of soul mates. that was funnie. i enjoyed little parts of it, but it was too inconsistent. that was probably the point.

after the movie, we drove for about HALF AN HOUR trying to look for a coffeeshop/starbucks that was still open. we went to the kerrisdale one at a billion o'clock and talked about university residences. god. i get a massive headache and bouts of depression and anger whenever i think about uni, because ITS SO FREAKING SOON and i am TOTALLY not READY to MOVE OUT.

anyway. there is my today. i just msn'ed for two hours and i need to post this because denise is nagging at me to post.
