i watched nausicaa of the valley of the winds. it was fantastic! nausicaa may possibly be my favourite miyazaki character of them all. i loved how alison lohman dubbed the words for her.

as soon as dara comes back from hamilton i think i will steal her mononoke hime dvd coz it's never in the video store. haaaa

oh god. im in a total geeky anime phase, if you couldnt tell by the blog headings and constant raving of miyazaki films. i want to watch neon genesis evangelion even. uhhh ya. that is out of question.

on an unrelated note, i'm going to squamish in the weekend, huzzah. it's a tiny "city" with a population of 15,000. rooooaddd trrrriiiiiiippppppp hells yes. i think its like a 2.5 to 3 hour drive on the highway. i love being on the road and i love being awake at ungodly hours with no one around. it feels like we're the only people alive because everything else is silent. in any case, anything is better than staying in this tedious colourless shithole.

sometime later this month i'll have my stupid go-getter writing workshops, barf. i am not really looking forward to that. meh. it seems like this summer is whizzing by really quickly, if that makes sense at all. i've hardly been doing anything except mostly loaf around, read, and all that shiz.

uhh.

*i* drove to whistler in an hour and a half, and *i'm* a pretty new driver. squamish is only an hour, not 3. :P

i dunno. my mom doesn't take the lion's gate bridge straight to the direction of north van because she has a fear of bridges. maybe that's why it takes longer.

last time i went it definitely look more than an hour.

Hi there. Nice of you to, um, borrow my screenshots. I don't mind too much, since you're a Miyazaki fan. But please throw in a text link back to my website, so your readers know where it came from. If you haven't had a chance, be sure to visit my Ghibli weblog. Cheers.
