in other news, today is valentine's day and i totally did NOT remember that until at about 10am when the school announcements were made. hahah. i dont know how i didnt remember, because i clearly knew it was roxy's birthday today and i also clearly knew that roxy's birthday coincides with valentines day. it must have slipped out of my mind.

i once thought all those elementary-school valentines that you buy in boxes of 30 from london drugs were completely meaningless but now i kind of want them again. and candy hearts that say BE MINE and cupcakes with pink frosting.

agh, frick, my finger is bleeding, how gross.

i'm jealous of lara and roxy of their birthday-decorated lockers (which i decorated). they are pretty. i made their birthday cards too, as usual, but i forgot to give roxy hers today because i didnt get everyone to sign it yet.

i submitted my sub-par poem today for the school contest. i am probably doing this solely for prize money purposes.

wouldnt it be really something to win the nobel prize?
