i have made extreme progress. Look, an intro to my essay :O

The beginning of the twentieth century saw the numerous births of the most radical and revolutionary of political ideologies. Fascist Italy, led by Benito Mussolini, and Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, emerged out of the results of World War I, after the Treaty of Versailles was met with much dissatisfaction from the people of Italy and Germany. Hitler’s Nazism, which reigned from 1933 to 1945 (Tames, 14) can be said to be a particular sect of fascism, which is considered of Italian origin; Mussolini first coined the term in 1919, after the Latin word fascis, which literally means “a bundle” and refers to the bundle of sticks that symbolized justice and power in ancient Rome (Mulvihill, 10). Although these two totalitarian states appear nearly identical due to their similar ideological movements, the two very diverse leaders have made significant and evident contrasts between the two fascist nations and the nations’ history.
