... random memory. today, i was going home on the bus and i was super-tired and very out of it. i was fiddling with my bag and suddenly there was an intense pain at my finger, so i looked down... it was bleeding like crazy from a deep hole beside my nails (where you get all the loose peeled skin). it was so painful, and i didn't know how i hurt myself, so i looked around and saw something gross. my loose peeled skin had stuck to the velcro strap on my bag, therefore ripping out my skin when i removed my hand....

ew.

anyway. it was fascinating. i never knew velcro could be so destructive.
