i took the above photo in april, but had to wait for weeks before i could bring it home, because we had a weekend off and i had to develop it, etc. i'm working at the slowest pace ever, mostly because i'm being uberperfectionistic. anyway. [biggish version]
all the furniture-arranging and summer cleaning yesterday paid off. our apartment looks a hundred times better. we got out some books and shelved them neatly, something we've been meaning to do since the earth cooled. there are still 25 boxes of books in our basement storage room, which haven't been unpacked since we arrived in canada, but those will have to wait because there's no room in this goddamn apartment.
i wonder if i'll ever get to live in a real, uncramped house before the age of thirty.
i went to the emily carr institute's grad exhibition today. there was some cool shit, but i didn't take any photos. maybe i'll go back. there was this one particular mixed media piece that took up an entire corner of a room that i really liked.
in other exciting news, i had lox and bagels with cream cheese, onions and capers. it was fucking good and i want one now. ahahaha, i cannot believe i did a GIS of 'lox on bagels'.
wheeeeee. it's 10pm and i should slowly mosey to my room and study for that fat socials test slash do my overdue math homework.
damn im always hungry these days.
