today was eventful to the max. i basically didn't attend any of the four classes i had. first block, i set up Keep the Beat in the auditorium, and second block was KTB itself. during third block we did some spanish activities and ate some mexican food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. that was yummy. we had an earthquake drill in fourth block. it was super sunny and the whole school lay in the grassy field outside. sunnysunnysunny. hot as hell.
Keep the Beat, our musical fundraiser for WarChild Canada, was a success... we raised over $1000 in total. i don't know the exact amount yet because we haven't tallied it all. pix and videos of performances to come later. wheeee.
i put some some new posters in my room.
i just ate an ice cream cone and a whole can of v8 in about five minutes.
i am super tired and super giddy and super hungry. sorry, i will have to update this blog when i am more sane. i have enough photos to last me a couple of years from this "arts and culture" week alone.
