Q: Under what circumstances is it permissible to take another person’s life?

how the fuck do i know... you could write a university thesis on this, taking examples from the modern history of the world. one paragraph? you're joking, right? asking for one paragraph on this is like giving an excuse to make everyone do shitty on this assignment.

only 1.5 more months till end of schoolyear... thank the lord.

when i was little, on new year's, i didn't want to get older (you get older with each newyear, not each birthday, in korea) and i was deeply saddened that i had to get one year older. my mom was startled. my dad, my mom, and i sat in a circle and we prayed, God, please excuse jenny from getting a year older. the next morning, on new year's, i didn't feel any different so i assumed i didn't get older. this happened when i was four, i know because it was the winter my sister was born.

i entered a shitty, grade-10 story into a short-story contest last month. they announced some results today and i won honourable mention. what a laugh. i don't even feel special. my sister won third though, she wins $75. her stories are clearly better than mine. (seriously).

i should really sleep, or do homework. i think this is the latest i've ever put off doing such meaninglessly small assignments.
